We've signed up to be one of London Mountain Film Festival's community hosts for this year's film festival!
7:00: Doors
7:30: Screening begins
We'll show a series of short films followed by an intermission and then 'The Oldest Munro Bagger' by Kettle's very own Jay and Christina Golian.
London Mountain Film Festival offers an opportunity for community screenings to raise money for charitable causes. For our screening, all proceeds from ticket sales will go to support Dundee Trail Therapy. This charity delivers trail therapy, which is an innovative intervention programme that seeks to use mountain biking in combination with more traditional therapy techniques to support those with a diagnosed mental health illness.
The Oldest Munro Bagger:
At 80, Nick set out to climb all 282 Munros after his wife’s dementia diagnosis — and this film follows him every step of the way. It's a story of grit, love, and pure Highland magic. The highs, the lows, the aches, the triumphs — it’s all here, captured against some of Scotland’s most breathtaking mountains. This is less about ticking off peaks and more about the journey, the connection to the land, and the love that drives Nick forward. Everyone needs a Nick in their life.
This is a ticketed event - tickets required after 6pm
